The women featured in The Evolution of the Iron Woman are all living proof of the positive effects of Title IX and the overall progress we have made in the last 100 years. I hope one day to be in their shoes and represent women in the same enduring and able-bodied way.

 

The stories of development, self-discovery,
and success contained in the timeline reflect my personal experience in athletics. Achievements or significant events in my career as an athlete form some of my fondest memories. They mark moments in my life where I have struggled, suffered, and grown.

My design of  The Evolution of the Iron
Woman seeks to inspire others to pursue their own personal health. I aim to show that health is more than one aspect of life. It is an overall balance of mind, body, and soul. Balance prescribes no single right way, and that is the beauty of it. The fun comes in trying to figure it out.
